Best Mexican food I've had since moving to FL from TX two years ago. Words won't do this place any justice. You just have to go.
Not a big place at all. If coming here is a bust for the wait, maybe try the brewery next door. For me, I did the opposite. I went to the brewery and the person I was with asked if I wanted tacos. Tacos? Where? The place next door! When you enter you leave Naples and are in Mexico for the moment, enjoy. Do they have every single style here you would find in Mexico? No, impossible. So, if they are missing your favorite, and you ding them for it, that's not fair. Service is great and with the pricing you can get whichever and how many ever you want.
The food was realllly delicious! The pico de gallo was amazing and the tacos were yummy. We tried chicken and steak. Highly recommend!
What a hidden gem! Tiny little restaurant serving up some delicious food! We were looking for some authentic tacos and found them right here. I got the longaniza, bistec, and pastor. They were all mazing but my favorite was that bistec taco. The flavor was just crazy good. You MUST try it!!! Not to mention the tacos are $2.50 each! So you can try everything your heart desires. The horchata was also so delicious! It had the perfect flavor; not too sweet. The staff here are on point. It was impressive to see them flying around taking orders at the tables, orders at the cashier, and taking the food out to the tables. They work together like a well oiled machine. Cant wait to go back next time we're in Naples!
We are in Naples for memorial weekend. And this is definitely a home in the wall. The owner has this place running smoothly and fast. He was amazing and friendly. Helped in bringing our drinks and food. The food was soooo amazing. Truly authentic Mexican tacos. Highly recommend. And the horchata drink was to die for. Place has a family owned feeling to it. Very nice vibe. Will def come back.
Another great taco place in Naples. It was highly recommended by a local was a great experience. Divey and a hole-in-the-wall as most great taco joints are. I had the pork, beef, and chicken tacos. All great and three salsas accompanied the tacos. House made chips and salsa with a great price.
Came from Miami and these were highly recommended. Service was great very cozy and the best Al pastor tacos I've ever eaten, the head tacos also great even the chicken tacos very very good. Guacamole and chips were delicious and the side of grilled onions is a must.
Delicious tacos and margaritas tonight. I got one steak quesadilla taco and one beef quesadilla taco. Both with tomato and a large slice of avocado. Our server was fast and friendly. There is seating inside and outside. The inside tables have beautifully carved and painted chairs. Simple a
We visited Naples from Indiana for 4 days and I think we went to this place every day. Great food and the price is great. Many of the places in Naples felt very expensive to us and it was nice to go somewhere so affordable and so good. This is the perfect place to grab food to go. We grabbed tacos from here and ate them on the beach while waiting for the sunset. It was so good. Their queso and chips is really good also.
I wound up at Taqueria San Julian due to proximity to Naples Botanical Gardens and great reviews on Yelp, and it did not disappoint. While a small and modest looking place, they serve up fresh and flavorful food at reasonable prices, and clearly have a loyal following evidenced by a constant flow of customers when I visited mid-day on a Saturday. Parking can be a bit difficult as people park haphazardly in the lot once all the marked spaces are full. We started off with chips and pico de gallo (3.5/5), which were decent, but kind of on the expensive side since most Mexican eateries I'm used to visiting provide complimentary chips and salsa. The chicken tacos (3.5/5) were a bit dry, but flavor popped once adding the cilantro and pico de gallo. The chicken quesadillas (4/5) were solid for the price, and packed good flavor, making for a perfect lunch. I would recommend skipping over the chips/sides/dips and going straight for the tacos and quesadillas, as that seemed to be what most of the other customers were ordering when I peeked at the kitchen area. They had a variety of Mexican drinks you find at most authentic Mexican eateries. Service was friendly and was attentive as they looked to turn over tables quickly and efficiently for the steady flow of customers. Overall, Taqueria San Julian is a great option for a quick and inexpensive meal, and a place I'd return to for lunch if in the East Naples area.
